Ruairi & Vicky
Bradley met each
other whilst teaching watersports in Greece and they have since sailed &
travelled extensively in their own boat. For years they developed and
managed a large marina complex in Ireland before heeding the call to
return to the Mediterranean.
So returning to Greece
they established Vliho Yacht Club in March 2003.
Come morning, noon or
night Vicky is around to ensure the smooth running of the overall
operation. On the restaurant side she is keen to produce with her
kitchen team, unique tasty specials and is always looking to develop new
ideas.
Ruairi has recently
gone back to his sailing roots and has opened
Northwind. Offering everything from yacht gardiennage, repairs,
tuition, deliveries & modifications. His extensive knowledge of the
boating world & no nonsense attitude gives you security that you are
getting what you really need.
As keen sailors and
with re-fitting their own boat ‘Toucan’ Ruairi & Vicky are very much
involved with organizing many sailing events throughout the year, see
the racing section of our site for more details.
Not wanting to be bored
(Ruairi will be the first to tell you that) different social events &
activities are thought up to keep the locals entertained and to keep
Debbie busy organising them!
Milly
the dog Continues to be the firm favourite here, she can often be spotted in the
mornings walking along the quay, keeping an eye on the boats and taking
a dip off the slip way in front of the Yacht Club! |

Debbie Keane started working
in the watersports & hospitality industry in 1994. After working for
several years in the UK the allure of overseas life beckoned and she
worked for a large watersports activity company for 9 years enjoying the
challenges of teaching and managing in different centres across Turkey &
Greece.
Racing together with
Ruairi & Vicky in the Laser SB3 and needing
time for a change and new challenges, it was easy to say yes when they
asked her to join the team.
Organising the
different social events & activities, working behind the scenes in the
office, teaching the local children to sail & pulling a pint now and
again means that she is never bored. She can often be heard before you
see her! |
