Being based in Vliho Bay gives us the perfect sailing venue for beginners to learn the skill of sailing a Laser Pico dinghy on their own.

Our options available range from a 2hr ‘Taster’ session, to see if you like the feeling of sailing & being in control of your own boat!  If you do then you can progress to a half day, full day or 3 day teaching programme

The Laser Pico’s are perfect for all ages and can take 1 or 2 people comfortably.  They are stable & easy to handle with no complicated controls.

Tuition is provided by qualified Royal Yachting Association instructors. 

If you already sail and just want to hire one for the afternoon then you are more than welcome to explore the bay & its coastline.  You can rent a Laser Pico for an hr, half day or full day.  Safety cover is provided so you can rest assured and just enjoy yourself.

The Sailing Club has been set up for local children to practice their skills learned with us and enjoy games afloat, exploring the bay through treasure hunts, racing techniques and more.  The children become members for a fixed small annual fee, allowing them access to member’s trips & their own team rash vest.  During school term the club is on Saturdays 12pm – 2pm & when they are on Schools holidays it is moved to Fridays 4-6pm (keeping them out of the mid day sun).
Essential items to bring with you to ensure a fun, safe time with us…  Swimming costume, t-shirt, shorts & shoes you don’t mind getting wet, Sunglasses that fit securely or with a tie back on, hat, sunscreen, towel, spare change of clothes & some money to enjoy a well earned snack & drink at the end of your session
