Our ethos at Vliho Yacht Club has always been that we are more than just a restaurant & bar… we continue to provide a home away from home for like minded people to interact, make friends & build on the community spirit that has continued to grow here.

Our events programme continues each year to provide time out from the everyday grind (yes there can be a bit of that living on a Greek island!) & a chance for everyone to catch up and have some fun interaction!

Some of the events that will run at various dates or time of year are…

Quiz on Wheels: teams in cars get a chance to explore the island, possible visiting areas they haven’t been to before whilst following a trail of clues and answering questions on points of interest.

Winter Ski / Snowboard trips:  With a variety of ski centre's only a few hours away, it would be a crime not to make the most of this, yes skiing in Greece does happen and is a lot cheaper than other places in Europe for a decent few days break.

Quiz Nights: these fun-fact packed Thursday nights have a strong following, with some classic rounds and some of the more obscure!  Matched with our ‘Quiz Deal’ of enjoying a choice of  house specials for dinner with 2 pints of Alpha draught or a half kilo of wine and entry into the quiz, all for just 12 euro!

The Ionian Rally    Starts Monday 17^th September 2012 This event leads up to the Southern Ionian regatta.  Organised and run by Vliho Yacht Club it is an event not to be missed.  Starting on the Monday with a fun packed race programme making the most of the afternoon winds as we race around the islands. Southern Ionian Regatta    This has been running for over 20 years and continues to draw hundreds of boat to the start line in the Meganisi channel on the third Thursday of September, this year on the 15th.  Racing around Arkoudi island to finish in Sivota for a truly ‘rocking’ night.  Live music and stage acts keep us all amused.
